The Parker Lab @ Scripps Research

Broadly speaking, the Parker Lab seeks to develop chemistry-enabled strategies to investigate human biology and disease pathology. Our research integrates organic synthesis with chemical proteomics and cell/molecular biology to (1) to study how small molecules might regulate, or be designed to regulate, complex biological processes such as immune responses and, (2) illuminate molecular mechanisms that contribute to disease. Our primary objectives are not only to better understand protein function and corresponding disease roles, but also to create chemical tools and technologies that might facilitate the development of new therapeutics.

Check out our Research and Publications sections for more information.

We are always on the lookout for talented new postdocs, students, research associates and interns, so please checkout our Join Us page for more info!
